We hope you were able to join us on April 20th for our virtual event, “Will There Be Enough Water in Denver?”
Experts from Denver Water – Ashley Denault, MPP, Community Relations Senior Specialist, and Melissa Brasfield, Community Relations Coordinator, shared with Clermont Park the current state of Denver’s water supply and how Denver Water is planning for the future. Drought conditions in Colorado, population growth and climate change are some of the factors that could impact the future of Denver’s water supply. Denault and Brasfield discussed the role of the Gross Reservoir Expansion in increasing storage capacity while improving local water quality and supporting environmental projects.
