Clermont Park is thrilled to share that we have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) as a 2021-2022 Best Nursing Home in the areas of Short-Term Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care. USNWR, which has issued Best Nursing Homes ratings for 12 years, remains a trusted resource that provides comprehensive, data-driven information and guidance to help older adults, families and caregivers understand their options for short-term and long-term care.
This designation indicates that Clermont Park is one of the 13% of skilled nursing communities in the United States that has been recognized as a UWNSR 2021-2022 Best Nursing Home. Clermont Park earned this recognition by achieving the highest possible rating of “High Performing” for both Short-Term Rehab and Long-Term Care. USNWR rates communities on a number of criteria, with an emphasis on quality of care and patient safety. These criteria include staff vaccination rates for COVID-19, flu and pneumonia, ER visit prevention, consistency of staffing, appropriate use of antipsychotic drugs and fall prevention, among others.
In response to this recognition, Clermont Park Executive Director Don Backstrom shared, “We are honored to be awarded the distinction of being named in the top 13% of nursing homes in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. Our high quality of care and commitment to excellent rehabilitation is noticed by our residents, guests, and the medical professionals with which we work. Our excellence is directly related to company values of Christian love, respect, and compassion to all.”
