Trying new pursuits is the core of a Masterpiece “Living It” campaign.
Human nature is drawn to routines and comfort. It can be so easy to get caught in a cycle, doing what we are used to and whatever is comfortable. How often have you felt that draw to learn something new, but the resources just haven’t been there?
Here at Clermont Park, we believe in constant development and the ever-consistent reinvention of one’s self. Life isn’t only about what we have achieved, but about what we are achieving. The goals we set and the opportunities that are before us are what create true happiness and fulfillment. The purpose of “Living It” is to try something new.
At Clermont Park, we are focused on truly changing the lives of our residents and team members. Have you ever wanted to learn a new skill but haven’t had the motivation? What about learning a new language, learning to sign are new classes we taught at the Clermont College earlier this year. (Clermont College is a series of classes we provide for free to our residents, team members and the nearby community.)
How are we continuing to better understand what it takes to affect the changing culture and world around us? This is truly important, so we began a class in the evolution of American values.
Each aspect of the college addresses the needs that our residents find important to them. The resident-directed culture of our community leads the Clermont College and the residents themselves are often the teachers. The growth of our community is thanks to the involvement of our residents and directors, we all have a continuous commitment to creating achievable goals that make life more fulfilling, no matter what stage we are in.
